As someone who believes that the traditional outside IP counsel legal service model often does not fully serve the needs of innovators, she seeks to educate entrepreneurs and her legal peers to design and deploy proven strategies to create business value from IP. She shares her insights about how entrepreneurs can obtain broad patent protection that meaningfully moves the needle of their company’s valuation in numerous YouTube videos, podcasts, and in online articles.

At The Hutter Group, Ms. Hutter primarily works as an IP Strategy consultant for startups and small established companies that are poised to deliver scalable product and technology solutions to real customers. In this role, she partners with business and technical management to design and execute IP Strategies focused on maximizing revenue and exit value. Ms. Hutter’s consulting clients are innovators in a variety of technologies such as computer vision, cloud computing, data privacy, data science, materials science, construction technology, medical imaging, water monitoring, cosmetics, polymer chemistry, and consumer products.

Prior to putting up her own shingle in 2008, Ms. Hutter was in-house at Georgia-Pacific, a shareholder at a patent boutique, and an IP litigator at an Atlanta Big Firm
